Running your own creative / spiritual business is constant shadow work when you realise that your business is now serving as a mirror reflecting what is happening within you based on how you're showing up for it.
So - you say you’re taking it seriously but you continue to procrastinate turning up to market your work?
A part of you is resisting surrendering to your journey. It might fear success and so it manifests as stories of how you’re just “not good at marketing”, or it might fear visibility so you don’t market your work across the platforms you're using because it's still trying to block how many people you can reach.
My journey with my podcast has been a humbling and rewarding experience and continues to be a space for me to grow. I started this podcast in June 2024, so fired up and ready to show up for it and I have had two relaunches since. I have hesitated taking the full plunge because of limiting beliefs around my voice and my potential to grow it too - which is really just ego trying to prevent me from growing beyond where I had been prior.
But, through it all, Spirit has been guiding me towards surrendering to this path because I really do enjoy it so much. I knew I would love podcasting when I was now using up the ten minute mark on TikTok and doing part twos and threes for videos on what I’m now talking about on my podcast.
This current season is reuploads from when I started this journey. I'm recalibrating for when we are now entering into the second season with more of what I have been learning and unlearning.
